FAUN under the Kirchhoff Group has retained their traditional rear loader lineup, and brought some new additions to the family. Models based on the Edelhoff MSTS detachable body system were produced during the early 2000s as the Toppress line. Like the Powerpress rear loader, the Frontpress front loader is another product with American ancestry, and for many years had been almost identical to the original Gar Wood FL-3000 designed by Fred Smith. In later years, the auxiliary packer panels have been replaced with a conventional packer blade, but the body still evokes the spirit of the original.
The Sidepress series side loaders handle both residential and commercial automated collections. The current generation now incorporates curved bodies and a pendulum-type packer mechanism. Another Fred Smith design in service with FAUN is the Easypress, a "one-armed" front loader designed to service wheeled carts from the curb. The loader arm is coupled with what is essentially a full-size FL packer body with curved panel construction. A handful of these were produced in America as the ill-fated E-Z Pack Hercules AFL.
