Georg Fahrzeugbau GmbH
Neitersen, Germany
Georg began producing refuse equipment as early as the 1980s, producing a transfer tailer of in-house design. A wide variety of products included rear and front loaders, skiplifts, hooklifts and trailers. During the 1990s, several innovative detachable-body systems were patented and introduced to the market. As of October 2001, the Georg group was dissolved, and no longer produces refuse bodies. Parts of the company were rescued from insolvency, including a foundry at Willroth, surviving today under new ownership and producing machine parts, tools, automative wheels and engineering services.
