On an exhibition of sanitation trucks in Berlin, Germany in 1977, KUKA showcased their complete new program of garbage trucks, the KUKA trio: VarioPress 209, BullPress 219, and the new Type 205 RotoPress. This new generation RotoPress replaced the old 215G, and the above picture shows the first version of the 205. This version, with an orange-colored body is very, very rare. I am not sure how many of these were produced, possibly as few as one or two examples. This is the only picture I have of this earliest type of RotoPress 205. The more familiar 205 with the silver-color body, which we all know today, arrived for 1978 and is shown below:
