During the 1980s, Hesco had distributors throughout the eastern seaboard, as far north as New York City. The company produced stationary compactors, and their advertising also stated that they built "standard loaders". That may refer to this 1985 Peterbilt, which was part of an order of automated side loaders (ASL) for St. Petersburg, Florida.
