The Portec Pakar was a light duty refuse body in 3, 7 or 10-cubic yard capacities. It uses a packing principle similar to some portable stationary refuse packers, with a swinging ram panel and tilt-to-dump hoist. The body had its own hydraulic system, and was available with a container hoist on the 10-yard model.
