Spartan Truck Manufacturing Inc.
Sun Valley, California
In 1972, Spartan Truck Equipment was founded by John Germain, a relative and former employee of Vince Bowles. The company made roll-offs and trailers, and in the 1970s produced a front loader very similar to that of Bowles. Recently, the company has added an automated side loader (ASL) body to the lineup called the Spartan 300, and has opened a branch factory at Casa Grande, Arizona.
