STERLING MFG. Laurens, Iowa     Sterling Manufacturing advertised their mini side-loader with telescopic packing-ejection cylinder as early as 1966. The 10-yard body is easily identifiable by the overhead tailgate lift cylinders. By 1968, a 13-yard body was added and sales were under the management of National Distributing Corporation of Des Moines under the "Hippo" trade name.
