TYPE 219 "BULLPRESS"
By 1977, it turned out that KUKA's Type 218 bulk loader could still not compete with rival Schörling, so they made a new tailgate which was a virtual copy of the famous 2R! The only appreciable difference between the new Type 219 "Bullpress" and the 2R was that the KUKA body used a steel frame with aluminium walls. Even the ejection system had the "Push-Out" (clamp and release) mechanism used on the Packmaster!
